The Women Human Rights Defenders International Coalition (WHRDIC) launched its annual “Spreading The Echo” campaign in November 2025. This campaign, now in its third year, shares the stories of 30 Women Human Right Defenders (WHRDs) imprisoned for their human rights work and activism.
The campaign extends an invitation to learn more about these defenders’ stories and join WHRDIC in demanding that all WHRDs be set free.

Since WHRDIC’s first “Spreading the Echo” campaign in 2023, several featured WHRDCs have been released.
