We’re excited to share our new website and a new look for the Channel Foundation. This new design honors the headwaters of our history, celebrates our impact, and represents our streamlined strategy. 

In the past couple of years, we’ve been in the process of transitioning leadership, refocusing our strategy, and building on our accomplishments in order to best advance gender equality during these turbulent times. 

The Channel Foundation advances human rights and gender equality by funding upstream organizations, expanding the feminist movement ecosystem, and building power for intersecting rivers of action. As part of a larger funding ecosystem, we’ve seen that empowering grassroots groups, supporting systemic change, and partnership funding models are extraordinarily effective pathways to achieving lasting social change. 

We continue to believe in the movement for gender equality and all of our partners who are working together for a future in which feminist perspectives are embraced so that all people have the respect, freedom, and opportunity to realize their full human rights and leadership potential.
