The report includes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Analysis of more than 530 responses from 60+ countries (400+ survey responses; 130+ personal narratives).<\/li>\n<li>Key findings, statistics, and recommendations for policymakers, tech companies, and individuals related to digital empowerment, technology access, online safety, and more.Stories from our community, in your own words, on how we utilize tech for good and how tech can do better to support women\u2019s leadership.<\/li>\n<li>Special highlights on the impact of COVID-19 on technology access and use; improving access for those with disabilities; and advancing gender-transformative digital skills training.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The report also features six Storytellers and seven Tech Leaders from the World Pulse community. Among those featured are:<\/p>\n<p>Olimpia, from Mexico, is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.worldpulse.com\/voices-rising\/stories\/mexico-i-fought-back-against-revenge-porn\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">fighting back against revenge<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-4472 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/www.channelfoundation.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/Mexico.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"199\" height=\"199\" \/> porn.<\/a> In response to a long-term boyfriend releasing an intimate recording, Olimpia thought her life was over. Instead, she and a group of women activists joined together to pass a law to protect women from digital violence.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-4471 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/www.channelfoundation.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/Zimbabwe.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"218\" height=\"218\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Farisai, from Zimbabwe, is working on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.worldpulse.com\/voices-rising\/stories\/zimbabwe-navigating-digital-divide\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">navigating the digital divide<\/a> after she couldn&#8217;t land a job in the male-dominated tech field. Now, she&#8217;s training the next generation of women developers to transform the industry.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-4470 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/www.channelfoundation.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/India.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"216\" height=\"216\" \/>From India, journalist and nonprofit founder, Aparna Gopan, survived cyberbullying. She is now leading campaigns to protect other gender minorities from online abuse in an effort to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.worldpulse.com\/voices-rising\/stories\/india-lets-make-internet-safer-women\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">make the internet safer for women.<\/a><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-4469 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/www.channelfoundation.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/Cameroon.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"208\" height=\"208\" \/><\/p>\n<p>As a woman with a disability, Veronica Ngum Ndi from Cameroon, shares how technology has expanded her world and made her passionate about educating others.
