She shared her insights on the situation in Afghanistan (social, economic, and security) as well as her unique perspective on the political transition in Afghanistan and the role of Pakistan and India in Afghanistan\u2019s future.\u00a0 She also shared reports and evidence of the state of women\u2019s lives and security in the region from Channel grantee partner the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.channelfoundation.org\/grants\/wrn\/\"><strong>Women\u2019s Regional Network (WRN)<\/strong><\/a>, a network of South Asian civil society leaders who develop \u201csolutions, as a network, to address extremisms, corruption and militarization of aid as they impact women\u2019s security.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The event was introduced and moderated by Dr.Tayyab Mahmud, the Director of the Seattle University Law School Center for Global Justice.
